It’s hard to believe that in today’s world of gambling, players search out gambling schools with classes on casino gambling. Advantageous tips and techniques are taught in these classes which can be yours for the low cost of only $1200.00 or so. Are these classes worth it? Maybe, it depends on the class, the instructor and other elements.
Craps instructor, Frank Scoblete, would be one of only two instructors who I feel like I could learn something from in the area of craps because I know some of the best dice players around. However, my own personal game would have to leave a lot to be desired before I would pay over $500.00 for any kind of gaming instruction. Does that mean I think it’s a rip off? No, what it means is that I’m comfortable with my gambling productivity right now and right now, there’s no way I would spend a large sum to learn how to gamble more effectively. Would Frank Scoblete’s class help my craps play become more advantageous? There is no doubt in my mind that it would.
Keep in mind, even though I wouldn’t go out and spend $500.00 or better for a class which would probably help my game, I wouldn’t think twice about betting $500.00 on one toss of the dice. And when you consider that fact, the craps class is a far better deal than my one wager of $500.00 on the dice table itself.
So what is so special about the schools and training camps such as Frank Scoblete’s craps classes? For starters, Frank Scoblete is the master of teaching craps techniques such as dice setting. One reason I wouldn’t pay for a class is because I have already watched many of his experienced protégé in action and have learned from them and read everything with Scoblete’s name attached to it. However, the classes are making a believer out of many people who attend the classes. Skilled shooters are coming out of Frank’s classes with precision shooting skills unmatched by most craps players at any dice table.
If you want to learn the game of craps, then a must-do is to learn from the guys of Frank’s school. However, in order to get the most out of the classes, you need to talk to some old timers around the dice table and see what you can pick up from them first. I’m a believer in these older men who have been shooting dice since they were ‘knee high to a grasshopper’ and I learned to shoot dice because of these kinder people of a generation gone by but I’m also a believer in record numbers and Scoblete can deliver on what he promises.
Unfortunately, other schools and camps have popped up with little rewards for the people who pay for the classes and camps. Frank Scoblete’s Seminars and classes are in a stand alone category along with a few poker camps and classes. Outside of these classes and camps, there are few reputable classes who can turn out players who show improvement after paying hundreds of dollars for instruction.
The verdict? The verdict is that if you have the money to spend wisely on investing in your casino game of choice , Frank Scoblete can offer you a craps seminar or class that can change your game if you are teachable and if you have the ‘golden touch’ as his website promotes. However, if you don’t have the patience or the discipline to learn to shoot dice, then don’t waste your time or money.
Craps shooting, in my humble opinion, is for people who truly have a deep seeded desire to learn the art of shooting dice. And if you don’t practice, you’ll have few turns at the dice which will give you a profit. If you practice, then you may see rolls that will put you in the spotlight whenever you’re at a dice table! And for me, that’s one of my favorite things about playing craps. |
