Article Index > Advanced Caribbean Stud Poker Rules

1. The casino gambling player makes ante wager as well as an optional $1 progressive side bet.

2. The players and dealer get five cards each. All the cards are dealt with face down. But the dealer’s card is exposed. The poker player can examine their cards but cannot share the information.

3. The player must either fold or raise.

4. When the poker game player folds he sacrifices his cards, ante bet and side bet.

5. When player raises, he has to make a raise wager almost equal to double the ante.

6. The dealer turns over his rest of the four cards.

7. The dealer must have an ace and a king or high to meet the criteria. This means that the lowest qualifying hand will be ace, king, 4, 3, 2. The highest non-qualifying hand will be ace, queen, jack, 10, 9. When the dealer does not qualify, the player will win money on his ante wager. The raise will then push.

8. When the dealer qualifies and beats out the player, ante and raise will lose.

9. If dealer qualifies and then loses to the player, the ante will get even money. The raise is then as per the put up pay table.

10. If the player and dealer link, both ante and raise may push.

11. The progressive side bet will be completely based on poker value of the hand of the player. Different pay tables are ready for the players.
